1:1 Coaching

3 and 6-month
Unique Virtual Containers Tailored To You

Come take the longest journey from the head to the heart…

Our work is informed by my own healing journey and I’m going to model for and teach you: self-compassion, energetic boundaries, nervous system regulation, inner child healing, emotion validation and more. Let’s claim the audacity to care for ourselves and our communities. Book a connection call with me today and let’s get to healing! You are on your way back home to your heart already.

Be your own agent of change

You have agency, I’ll always remind you of that. Together, the greatest antidote for hopelessness and despair is agency and aligned, empowered action. We must do the inner work of defining our values, accounting for our resources, both internal and external, and then channeling our energy capacities towards making a contribution to better our, and everyone else’s, circumstances. I have been consciously healing for the greater part of the last two decades of my life. I am alive at this moment to create and be generative to counterbalance the destruction of the old systems and paradigms. Birth and death happen simultaneously. To be a healer does not mean to heal others. Rather, it means that my commitment to continue my healing journey is how I help create the space for you to do the same. We heal in community and the greatest willful defiance we can exercise is our continued commitment to hope, optimism and creativity.

private sessions are for you if:

You are committed to including yourself in your circle of care and are ready to take your needs seriously. My coaching approach embraces the healing path of self-compassion and detachment, just like Buddha. You are ready for 1:1 coaching if the wise words of Dr. Dan Siegel resonate with you — “it is not your fault, but it is your responsibility”.

private sessions are not for you if:

You have not been engaged in therapy to address childhood and attachment issues. Coaching is not therapy — it is not a bypass for addressing trauma and as best practice I offer referrals for trauma therapists. Coaching is not for you if you are looking for a quick-fix approach to address symptoms.

frequently asked questions

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is generally a shorter term modality and more fast-paced and directed. Coaching is best suited for those who have already done therapy to address their childhood or are currently in therapy to work on past issues. My integrative coaching style is a wellness model as opposed to therapy being an illness model focused on diagnosis. My approach is strengths-based and grounded in the wisdom that we are not broken or flawed and feeling whole again is possible and our true potential. Coaching may be indicated if you’re feeling a plateau in your healing journey and need guidance to take you to the next layer of the onion. Schedule a free consultation with me and we’ll talk it out.

I see that you got your masters degree in somatic psychology. What is that?

Somatic Psychology is a type of therapy that includes the body and rejects the notion that we are a mind separate from our body. Rather we are an integrated body-mind system and focus is body-oriented and pays attention to the experience one has in the moment, in the body. It is important to reiterate that I am not practicing therapy, I am offering coaching. However, my integrative coaching orientation is influenced by my education and clinical background and personal understanding that we are a whole system and I will always include the body and its storytelling in our work together. We will address body, heart and mind.

How long does coaching take?

Great question! Change takes time, and most effective change occurs within a safe and grounding relationship. My coaching approach mirrors my values around being aligned with nature and her rhythms, taking time to both process and integrate and inherently rejecting the dominant culture that moves too fast for our nervous systems.

When clients sign up, we devise a uniquely tailored container for you, and the time of that healing container depends on your needs and progress. I make space for our relationship to have a solid foundation, for processing, digesting and integrating the material that unfolds. For some, three months may be enough. For others, that may be too short. You’ll be in good hands - like a loving parent, I will hold the boundaries of the container and will offer choices for you to track how much time you need. I know that every person is truly unique, therefore each container is different.

What do you offer besides coaching?

I consider myself an educator first and foremost and I share the wisdom I’ve accrued, accessible mental and emotional health education and what inspires me via my newsletter and instagram as well as being available for speaking engagements, workshops and trainings for schools (both children and administrators and teachers), organizations and businesses (both virtually and in-person) and through my online courses (coming early 2023!).

How do coaching containers work?

The container’s walls are boundaries that provide accountability, which beautifully compliments the goal-oriented work we do inside of them. 3 and 6-month containers all include a series of 90-minute live sessions at regular intervals (typically every other week). Between live sessions work continues with suggested readings, journal prompts, self-reflection practices and guided rituals to support deeper integration and application.

What is the investment?

Your container will be designed for your success and keeping in mind your currently available resources (space, time, financial and more). I ask for a time commitment of at least 3 months for an investment of $3700 (in full or three monthly payments) or 6 months for an investment of $6500 (in full or six monthly payments). In some cases, condensed or additional containers can be created. Post-container, clients can continue work at an hourly rate. Click the Schedule A Free Intro Call button below and we’ll work it out!
